Daisy and KU

So Daisy is definitely on the road to recovery! She has begun eating dog food - of course its not the cheap kind but at least she's eating dog food and not just whatever Jeff and I have for dinner ;)! She'll continue to take her meds for at least the next month but we have been praying that she would eat dog food and she is. We are so thankful the Lord answered our simple prayer. Everyday she seems more and more like her old self. We were even able to leave her with friends overnight while we drove to San Antonio to watch KU play in the final four game!



We drove up and watched the KU vs. UNC game in San Antonio. We had a blast and met up with our friends Sam and Lindsay from Dallas. They had tickets to the game so we enjoyed sitting at the Hard Rock Cafe eating and watching the game right there on the Riverwalk (above picture). It was great fun to see Roy Williams get beat by his old team! How sweet the victory was - especially since we led the whole game! Anyways, we also got wander around all the NCAA offerings and just enjoy the atmosphere and see all the KU fans in TX - a rare sight indeed! We had to drive home this afternoon so Jeff could work tomorrow but are headed back up there afterward to get tickets and go to the game. KU vs. Memphis - GO HAWKS! We are so excited! I'll write more about our adventure after that game. Enjoy!
