Well, in case you were wondering, Jeff and I did not end up evacuating for Ike. The hurricane is headed toward Houston/Galveston so we are back at home but leaving our windows covered in case of high winds. The water is definitely up, we walked toward the pier from our house and could see HUGE waves! The water is definitely going to be up but we are not worried about it coming in or even getting close to our house. Thanks for praying for us and keep praying for Ike's landfall to be light. Also, pray hurricane season quiets down, its not over until the end of November.
Root for the Jayhawks, they play tonight against S. Fl and we are going to have a hurricane party (small one) and watch the weather and the game!
